So it looks like the event will be available to everyone on livestream at least on March 14th at 8pm and will be at the Hawthorne design studio. Do you need an invite or are we allowed to just show up to these events?

I just received my invitation here in Europe. I will definitely not fly over to CA. How does it work if I invite someone? Can he get in without me, or do I have to get in too?

You add their email and they'll receive an RSVP email, which will allow them to get in even if you are unable to make it.
Yay, finally! Flights and hotel booked w/points last night expecting the invite to come. RSVP is in!

But there's no option to invite a guest and say you're not going so wouldn't that take a spot that otherwise could go to somebody that can make it?
