Have you recently received an autopilot trial for your M3?

Hi,

I've had my Model 3 Long Range RWD for about two months now and 5,000 km. I did not order autopilot. I had heard that in the past, once the car had some mileage under its belt that Tesla would offer the car free autopilot during a trial period (30 days?) with the option to buy autopilot after the trial. I have yet to receive this. Has anyone recently been offered an autopilot trial?

You may have to call in to get the trail if it doesn't appear by itself. Have you checked under the "Autopilot" menus?

Thanks for the info. I've just checked the Autopilot menu and nothing there about starting a trial or turning full autopilot on. If I do need to call to get a trial, I think I'll time it to just before I'm about to go on a long road trip. Ironically, I just came back from a 1,700 km road trip which would have been a great way to assess Autopilot.

I got it at the end of March, for 60 days, but when I had 22 days left, it disappeared. Lots of others had the same problem. Apparently, they have some issue on the backend. Cause with the trial I saw the post-purchase of AP lower than it is now.

Hi Garth, I'm in the same boat as you. Picked up my 3 with no AP, a little over 2 months ago. Still waiting for my AP trial to see if it's a necessary add-on.
