Hi Guys, I just got this email this morning and thought I share it. I read through Akikikis post on paying for taxes and reg etc. I'm glad to announce that those days are over! Yea!
Hi Ross,
You may make final payment on your MyTesla account once your final paperwork is posted. You will get an email alerting you when it is available and I am told it should be ready by the end of next week.
Also, there was a change in process this week and Tesla in now working with a titling agency to help customers complete their registration. You will see that taxes and fees have been added to your final amount due. The titling agency will be registering your Model S on your behalf and all you will need to do is sign some paperwork at delivery and few weeks after delivery at their office. No need to go to the DMV!
