Sometimes its not possible to get the tag number as when they pass you going in the other direction. And often the color can be missed between dark blue, black and even dark green or RED (a little red humor there). Even though we don't get the color right or get the battery size, its still close enough I don't mean to hurt any feelings for the person that added those B.I. cars that don't show a tag number. But should we be counting cars that we can't make a distinction really exist; otherwise it can be counted twice? I believe the minimum to count a Tesla should be a license plate number. The color and battery size is just good details to help us understand the choices people make.

We know supercharging is enabled on 85's. But I suspect its a rare 60 in Hawaii that has supercharging enabled. Its going to be useful information for we owners to know how many Model S have supercharging enabled as we lobby for more charging locations.

I happened to be by Koko Marina when Tesla was set up, and one of them told me it's about 400 now (don't want to incriminate anybody).

I wouldn't doubt that. Just with our doing a tally, we have spotted a lot of Teslas. And this is with just a few of us. The hard part is that there are new ones getting shipped in every week and they all have the temporary plates. We may never know if we see those again at a later time.

As I said, driving around the airport parking lot is a good way to see a bunch of Teslas.

I needed to go to the UPS Store in Kahala and pulled into the parking lot when I saw another green MS there. I figured I would park next to the other driver and take a picture.

301 proper now...but I think I might have messed up the formatting when I added the 301st to the Oahu list. Not sure what I did to bold face the color on #301 (Yasai), but now I can't fix it. I might have messed up the spacing between that and Maui too. If someone else can clean that up, I'd appreciate it. Sorry for my mess!

Had some time to kill at the airport last night while waiting for a flight to come in...so I drove around the parking structure stalking Teslas. Found 3 more new ones. We're up to 334.

Mods - can we make this a sticky please?

I'm starting to think that I'm the only active member on Maui. I was on the mainland for most of the last 3 months, and no Teslas were added from Maui during that time. Well, I added one today. First 70 I've seen here.
