Hawaii Model 3

A friend of mine told me that he knows someone who owns a Model X who got an invite to configure just before the holidays but has not yet configured. This person moved to Hawaii within the last 9 months but used to live near the Fremont factory so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

If anyone is visiting the factory in Fremont anytime soon, heard they have a red model 3 on display there in the showroom. And probably a bunch in the parking lot and at the supercharger

Looks like there is at least on Model 3 on display at a Tesla Store in Palo Alto. Hopefully there will be one here soon.

Model 3 Invites

Right now, I am the only person from Hawaii with a Model 3 reservation who has entered data. Any other Hawaii members with a 3 reserved want to enter their info?

Was getting excited thinking someone from Hawaii had confirmed that they had been invited to configure but seems like Polly Wog was saying that no one else from Hawaii had entered their info into the spreadsheet.

I'm waiting for the white interior, for my fiance' . Once the white interior is available, it will be MC red, RWD, PUP, aero wheels, and EAP. I wish they included the white interior in the "Why are you waiting?" section.

Looks like other owners on the mainland got the config page too on their Tesla accounts today. Makes me wonder if 4 week delivery time for Hawaii is true. Probably not...LOL

Awesome news that Hawaii owners are finally able to configure. We're finally on the map. If any of you have configured, it would be interesting to see the estimated delivery time.

I checked yesterday and able to design, but I'll wait for 220 mile version. Don't need 310 miles of range for $9k.

Does it give you any estimated delivery date when you design the 310 mile version?

I played with the configurator...and it shows 4 weeks for delivery...but I think that is just boilerplate language. I didn't commit to the purchase...I don't need the big battery, and I'm still waiting to see what the upcharge is for dual motor and/or air suspension.

I found someone to take over my LEAF lease (their LEAF lease expires next month, but Nissan is letting them extend until mid-May); so I have a few months to wait and see.

Exactly how I felt. Going to wait for the send production “early 2018”
