Anyone ordering a first production car?

I have been offered a chance to configure Model 3 with HNL delivery. I'll probably be waiting until cream interior is available (and preferably basic battery) before configuring. I was shown a wait of only 4 weeks.

I am a present Model S owner and stood in line on day 1 to order (making sure I was at least a few steps ahead of Nanimac).

This is exciting news for Hawaii (and EV adoption in general). Decisions.... decisions...

I uploaded a video of the Model 3 configurator..I clicked on all the links (except order button) including all color combos and boring legal agreements.

Seems like an announcement of the performance model 3 is coming soon. My uneducated guess is sometime in Q1. Hopefully I'll be available in time for my target September lease end/model 3 delivery date.

I was at the SC this morning picking up my wife's Model S (25k mile service and drive unit replacement). They have a black Model 3 (w/ aero wheels) on the lift in one of the service bays. Nigel (service concierge) didn't know who it belonged to (customer, employee, showroom, etc.?). He said it 'just showed up the other day'.

not 100% on topic, but, someone at work just bought a new Prius. it has a HUD. Tesla really needs to rethink the HUD in the model 3.

Tesla staff has pretty much tripled since March 2016 when there were no stores and the manager back then is gone so betting it’s someone as the SC with a day 1 res.

There are two reservations - one configured with silver with aero wheels and the other with midnight silver with 19 inch sport wheels. Got a call from the delivery specialist (haven't had a chance to call back yet) - wish they would just email (as stated in communication preferences for Tesla) as my schedule is too crazy to try to call somebody during business hours.
