After Elon's twitter update about the white interior not being available until July (at the earliest), my fiance' gave me the green light to go ahead and place the order. So... order placed! MC Red, Aero, EAP, and of course LR, PUP.

Congrats! I'm still waiting. I've been emailing with an inside sales guy in Vegas, and he said he hoped to have an update for me by the end of the week, but still nothing in MyTesla.

He indicated that they have a batch of Midnight Silvers (my color configuration) that are becoming available this week to match up to customer orders. Hopefully I'm in that batch and have good news by tomorrow.

We ordered white. I called and they said someone will be contacting me. According to the person I spoke to, you receive the VIN towards the end of production. Hopefully it will be here soon!

Historically with Tesla, we receive the VIN assignment week(s) before it goes into production. Keep checking your Tesla account where you VIN is, the status will change as production of your vehicle begins. My last VIN was assigned in DEc '16 about a week after I confirmed. Then because they car was going to be built in '17, the VIN year character changed before year end. The production of the car didn't begin until early March '17 though the VIN was assigned and adjusted in Dec '16. So, it can be weeks. But it might depend on the model of the Tesla too.

I got my VIN March 31 then an email form the ISA on April 2. I was told yesterday that it's at the port and to expect delivery in 5-7 days after it's loaded on the boat.

Apparently with the Model 3s they assign VINs after production. Since there are so few variables in configuration, they are just cranking them out in batches (color/wheel spec), and then matching them up to existing reservations. That's according to the Bloomberg tracker, VINs have been recorded in the 18,000 range, but I just got assigned a 12,6xx number moments ago, so it's definitely a batch issue. My car was probably built in mid-March.

Cool! We’ll probably end up on the same shipment! Interestingly, my VIN is 14XXX.

It seems my 3 was teleported from San Diego to Honolulu! Yesterday my ISA said it's in San Diego and that I will be advised once it's loaded on the boat. Today she called me to let me know it's in Honolulu already. My delivery is next Thursday.

Hi guys. I was a line waiter too and am finally taking delivery on Wednesday. Can’t wait! Just an FYI, but Hickam FCU has a great rate of 1.74% right now for electric/hybrids.

I just got quoted 2.00% for 60 months, or 2.5% for 72 months with Aloha Pacific FCU. The rate jumped to 3.5% for 84 months. I didn't ask about shorter terms.

I configured 2/14, got VIN 010XXX 3/31. I got basic black since I'm planning to get it wrapped by Al's Tinting again. He did a very good job with my S and X. I got the aero wheels.

My car is on the boat! The latest update is they expect it to land on Wednesday. Delivery is tentatively scheduled for Sat May 5th.
