I'm happy to report that the Hawaii Service Center is upholding my (admittedly high) expectations for quality of service. Courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful with my out of warranty issues. I have a new screen and hoping this will hold up better than the first one.

I went by on last Friday night to check it out. They were in the process of moving in and I got to look in at the location. I talked with Jenny as well. The Service Center also got an extra space in back to store the delivered cars that are waiting to be picked up.

Can't wait for the Grand Opening party!
enough chit chat.. when is the party?o_O:):D

So you're the white tesla with 21's that I see all the time in Hawaii Kai. I'm just up the hill on Kamehame ridge. Aloha neighbor!

Hi neighbor! I'm just past the skate park :)
I see quite a lot of Teslas in the neighborhood now. Love your new wheels btw

Yeah! For sure! Koko Marina Starbucks? :)
I actually bit the bullet and got an aftermarket set of wheels for a good price. It wasn't practical, but I've been known to be compulsive about such things. Just buying the Model S sight unseen 4 years ago is testimony to that!

Took my car in for the first time at the new SC. Such a different experience from the old SC. So many new people. I asked for a ride to work downtown and they offered me a loaner instead. I remember having to reserve a loaner at time of service before. Noticed the loaner cars have a red Tesla symbol at the top of the rear window. I got a classic dark blue 60 (reminds me of my 1st car). The ride seems so primitive compared to my 70D now and the controls on the steering column are all different. LOL

Also noticed Jimmy wasn't there. Wonder if he left Tesla? Haven't seen him for awhile.

The last time I had my car serviced in May he called me so he is still there.

Yes, we should have a Koko Marina Starbucks Tesla gathering. Would be fun! LMK when and I'll try to be there.

I picked up my new MS75D on 9.29.17 and have had a bunch of problems so far. Jimmy at the service center has been nothing short of amazing. I was pissed at all the problems for a brand spanking new car but the level of service is outstanding.

  • 9.29.17 - 6 hours after delivery I returned because the small triangular window in front of the front passenger window wasn't seated right casing very loud wind noise. They took the car in immediately and fixed the problem
  • 10.2.17 - Called the SC and E-mailed them photos the front dash installed incorrectly (looked warped - It was very "wavy" at the base near the bottom of the windshield/speaker)
    • They immediately ordered the part
    • Installed on 10.3.17 when the car was back at the shop for the problem below with the E-brake
  • 10.3.17 - The E-brake locked rendering the car undriveable
    • They met me out in Kapolei with a loaner at 6pm
    • Attempted to diagnose the car and were unable to
    • I was informed 4 hours later the car was towed at 10pm
  • 10.6.17 - I texted Jimmy my windshield wiper is bouncing and not moving smoothly. There's a metallic clanking noise when in use. He offered to bring me a loaner and return the car back to me when the work is completed.
The SC has been very accommodating, understanding and even admitted they are very embarrassed. Despite all the problems, they've done everything possible to minimize the interruptions to my day and I truly appreciate this.

Overall I'm very impressed.

IMO, the service center and their level of service is unmatched by any other car brand. And that level of service has been the standard since they've been in Hawaii. I actually enjoy vs dread bringing my car in. lol. It's the one benefits of being a Tesla owner that is never given much credit but is a big brand loyalty selling point for me :)
