So glad that Nanimac turned her "s" into a red color. It would be most embarrassing for her to come out of a store at Ala Moana someday and see me standing next to her car, pushing my FOB and getting no results. Now I stand a really good chance of not making that mistake. BTW, Nanimac, if you're ever surprised to see a furry black dog in the backseat of your car someday, it probably means it's actually my car and yours is nearby. ; )

The black letters really make the "Tesla" stand out. I might have to copy that.

i picked up the the blue center T caps too but haven't applied yet..if you see a white fluffy dog in the backseat...that's my car

Does anyone want the black lettering for their wheel caps?

I originally ordered the black letters from Mr. Wray and then bought the dark blues right before my car arrived. Thus, I have an extra set of black center wheel "T" letters. The first Hawaii Tesla owner to respond on this thread, then send me a shipping address via Private Message, receives the free black wheel letters.

If they are still available I'd like to get them... It should look good with my silver.

I just got word that my Lighted T is on the way. did anyone else order this? we should probably get together and (a) do it together or (b) observe to learn the pitfalls.

I also ordered two of the fobs to open charge port if anyone wants to see it in action. very helpful when using J1772.

I ordered mine as well. Didn't get the fob to open the charge port. Interested in getting together to do the installation.

I got a couple of PMs about the fob.
I think this flew under the radar for a lot of people. I just happened to notice it a few days ago.
History: way back in the beginning (last year) one of the topics discussed was the lack of a convenient way to open the charge port door when using the J1772 adapter.
with the Tesla chargers they come with a button that will open the charge port door without having to reach into the car and bring up a button on the 17" screen.

Here is the thread that discusses it.

(There is also a European version but it looks a little different)

I ordered the lighted T as well and should be getting it this week or so. I'm game for a group install as well, work schedule permitting.

I have the crimp tool and some of the male and female spade connectors. I also have the 22 gauge wires.

Me too, I have crimper and assorted connectors. I got the add a fuse, but think I will connect to the DRL wire instead. (what gauge are the Headlight/DRL wires?) I need 22 gauge wires and a wire tap connector.

Power folding mirrors

Now available via a retrofit kit per email from Luke at SC today. Need to get on a waiting list. Cost roughly $1500 - $2500 depending on what kind of wiring harness is in your door already.

Thanks for the info! Anyone getting this? I'm so used to not having power mirrors now that i'm not sure if I want to spend the $$$.

Interesting. Do they install a button somewhere on your interior or do they have a way of installing it in your GUI? I find that I wouldn't often need to use this feature anyway, but just curious.

Got my lighted T earlier this week. Won't install it until I return from Tucson though. Looks to be of excellent quality!

I ordered the Oznium controller so that I can install it along with the lighted T. I plan to connect it to the DRL so that I can control the brightness.

Eventually, I may be looking at the front camera versus parking sensor.

I found 4super9's tips helpful.

I ordered the controller after the "T" had shipped. I received the controller, but my "T" went MIA.
