Last year I got my car too late to take pictures in front of the Honolulu Hale Christmas lights.
I wonder if we can get a long line of Tesla Model Ss in front of Mr and Mrs Santa.

I received another OTA update overnight...still labeled as version 5.8, but revision 1.49.30. There are no notes on what changed. It still shows the same 5.8 release notes as before. I find it a bit bothersome that they don't tell you what they've tweaked.

From reading on the main forum, it seems to be an adjustment for cold weather charging. You can read cbout it here on post #879.

Cold weather charging? Ok, I guess I'm not going to be as anxious to get this OTA as the last one. I think my MS will be just fine here. :smile:

It was in the low-60s last night...does that count as cold weather? :tongue:

Others on the forum have reported that the new OTA for 5.8 changes the driver's side USB port to 2.1 amps, enough to charge an iPad. Have not tried it yet.

My mother backed the Tesla into the garage door and put a dent in the rear bumper so until that gets fixed (along with all the miscellaneous scratches that it's accumulated), the car's not fit for pubic viewing (sigh)
