Hawaii - The Tesla iOS and Android app has a new UI
Seems to respond faster. Support Touch ID.
If you scroll down on the main page to the bottom, you see your battery size, milage, VIN and firmware version number. That's cool.

Akikiki, where did you get the update? I couldn't locate it in the App Store.

Cool! Looks like it's now at version 3.0.0.

What's New:
The Tesla app has been completely redesigned to streamline access to important information and controls.

- Access frequently used controls with one tap on the home screen
- Monitor your vehicle at a glance with a Today widget
- Use keyless driving quickly with Touch ID


The "Waking" screen shows a Model S in the shadows, its outline barely visible, When it makes the connection, the scene lights up and the controls are visible.

First impression: the Charging screen says "Charging" at the top, except I'm not actually charging. I suppose they are using the word as a generic title, but the old version of the app said "Not Charging" so there wasn't any confusion.

Most iOS phones will update automatically. Might take a few extra minutes.

The android version was updated too. First impression is it's way faster to make a connection with the car.
