HD Radio Icon Grayed Out, please help

So I found the HD radio icon. When I press it, the line through it goes away but the icon remains “grayed out” and no HD stations are listed. I live in the LA area so I am certain there are HD stations available.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do something to enable HD radio? Do I need to have the radio serviced?

If I remember correctly, that's the button to disable / enable it. Turn it on and then you should start seeing it illuminate as well as the additional station selection appearing as 123...
It didn't make sense for me to begin with.

Thank you, that is what I expected. But after enabling it, nothing happens. It never illuminates and I never see any HD stations. Sounds like I may need to contact Tesla support or service. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

also - if you're out of range of an HD station it "won't work". i think it covers this in the manual and what you're seeing is normal functionality.

Yep, I took it to my local Tesla Service Center and they replaced the radio tuner. Now all the HD stations work just fine.
