Will the 4pc cameras be included in one of the Kickstarter pledge kit levels?
The 360 system is not included in any Kickstarter pledge package because the 360 system is a mature product and can be bought in the market. We don’t do the 360 system development or manufacturing. It just happens that it has HDMI output and can work with our HDMI interface board

I installed the Rydeen 360 system, spent a lot of money, and regret having done it. Was a totally waste of $. The resolution was dreadful and for all intents and purposes it was useless. Showing a low resolution image on the touch screen will make it look even worse.

If the cameras only have the CVBS resolution (PAL/NTSC) output , the total outcome is just worse.

The new technology now is having 4 720P camera with a after-stitching output of 720P. The output image is totally different from the old technology.

Btw, the Tesla’s touchscreen can only display the 720P (1280x720) resolution for video-in display area, which means it is a no lost (or non-scaling) video processing.

Have a search of 3D 360 video from YouTube and you will see the different

Just had limited time to test the 3D 360 system and I just installed the front camera with 3M adhesive tape, it’s a prelim test anyway.

Below is the video clip for showing how the 360 system works, will customise the car skin to be Model S / X in next step

Was busy working on other projects the past week.
Just added a wireless module (315MHz freq band) that it could work with HomeLink.

Below testing clip is the switching between Rear camera and HDMI channel by the remote botton. The remote control is also a testing prototype as it is so large, will change to a single button and as small as possible

Below YouTube clip is also the switching between rear camera and the HDMI channel, but the triggering methodology is using the “menu” button on the steering wheel. By pressing and holding the Menu button for 2s and the switching is triggered.
This is done by decoding the CAN signal and convert to a 12V Vcc to the board in performing the switching. Thanks to @appleguru for such a great job in decoding the CAN bus signal for this HDMI project

Highly recommend to also buy the CAN decoder (OBD connector) from @appleguru to use with this HDMI interface box

Another implemented function with this CAN decoder is the auto-switching to the rear camera channel when the car is at “Reverse” status.
