No stationery, but I'll take some chocolate.

    Congrats on the delivery :)

While I don't own a Tesla - yet - I STILL look for excuses to take my three year old Nissan Leaf out on errands. :) The EV grin is still there three years on.

I've had my MS for a few months, and I still look for excuses to drive it. For example, I live within 5 miles of 2 Costco warehouses, but yesterday I drove to one 25 miles away to pick up some household supplies. My wife thinks I'm nuts...

In our case, let me know when you're going and I'll race you there! I need an excuse too, you know.

Apparently this feeling doesn't fade away... 21,000 miles

Right, it really doesn't fade. I just finished a 7-day, 3,600 mile trip, and now am champing at the bit to go....oh, I don't know. Boston? Florida keys? I wonder if the Vancouver BC Office Depot has letter openers????? :)

IMG_2291.JPG Just found this old thread.
I found yet another nerdy reason (excuse) to drive around.

My wife is happy her Lexus sits in the driveway on weekends now. She used to complain to me about always using her car for store runs, errands, blah, blah, blah But I digress, you just reminded me I may need to pick up nuts/bolts for a small project i'm doing :)

Grab me a pencil, please. I'll drive to your house from Colorado to pick it up. Thanks for the offer.

When I read the thread title I thought "Back in 2013 and 2014 there were a bunch of threads like this."

    Oh. Yeah.

Ha, I'm at 63,000 miles between my old 60 and my newish 90D (how long can I still call it new?). I never left the house yesterday, so I was really looking forward to going to the grocery store today.

I go to the grocery store and hardware store in the next town even though they're the same as the ones in town.
I'm also the family's personal Uber driver. I'll go anywhere. I've driven to Las Vegas (300 miles) to pick my daughter up at the airport and take her to her hotel and driven several times to other distant airports to pick her up and drop her off.
I just love the guilt free driving. 45,000 miles in 18 months
