And engine rpm None of these are obviously available when you put it in GPS mode. OBD mode does not work on an EV (or even hybrid), tried it on my Leaf.glad to see it will track 'water temperature' ;-)

Looking forward to hearing how the Hansshow works. It's got pretty much all the information I'd be interested in seeing on my HUD.I've ordered the Hansshow display unit and will see if I like it.

Yes, good point. To be clear, the gear display letter is so small that you would really need to focus on it to figure out what it shows. Just unplugging the display would help in this specific case though.See if you can blank out the gear if it is not working. That's dangerous. Esp if someone else drives the car. Like an inspection shop.
There's a couple different ways to run USB for power, I show some examples in the install video:
Hello Jwardell- I am interested in the set up you have on the full display, I am watching how this progresses, very well done!! Is this pretty easy to see from the seat position, from the video it looks a little small.. But very well done!!!
Thanks JW I really like your design, this is my first real year with reading glasses, so I was worried I would not be able to see the display properly. Thank you for taking the time to reply... Good luck with the product
Despite being small they are surprisingly readable. And you can place them wherever you want if you want something close like your steering column or up closer to the windshield.

Pictures please!I have installed it in the vent right in the center behind the wheel and find the MPH readout very easy to read.
Pictures please!
@JWardell Any way you can make the cable coming out of the display more aesthetics? If you can have it plug in behind the display and use a flat usb cable, you could probably make it basically invisible in the vent. Also, if you can tap directly into a switched power source in the driver footwell, you couldn't have to route the usb cable that far and it would look more oem
How does your can adapter install look?Agreed. Even with a black cable, the connector and cable are very visible.
