Heat rejection question for Raleigh NC owners

We have a brutal (at least for me) summer this year in Raleigh. I am taking the delivery of my new model X next week. Do I need to tint the windows for heat rejection? Are there MX owners who didn't have the tint but added it later? Did it make a big difference? Did you tint just the windows or windows and windshield?

We got the white interior for the summers here in Arizona. That's been good enough for me. I haven't felt the need to tint the windows. Especially when you only really have the front side windows and windshield that aren't already tinted. The A/C has been pulling the temperature down quick enough. Of course we don't have your humidity.

ETA: oops, mostly X for the above. The 3 is not as well tinted as the X from the factory. Nonetheless, even my wife who has always had tinted windows has not tinted the 3, so far.
