Heated wheel?

We have a new-to-us 2013 that has heated seats. does that mean that the wheel is also heated but software turned off?
Would love to have this enabled if possible.
Any info is appreciated.

If it is available to you - it should show up only in the climate control screen or the phone app. At least those are the only 2 locations I see the steering wheel heater button available with my my MS.

Im asking if its available to be enabled by software hack of some sort...but its not an option on our car at the moment.

Did you get the cold weather package? If not you are either hardware or software limited. In either case you cannot have it added by Tesla.

Short answer: no.

Long answer: Even if your car has the Subzero package (you should have heated front seats no matter what so simply having "heated seats" doesn't tell us what packages you have as it relates to your question) you will not have the heated steering wheel as it wasn't added to the Subzero package until 12/2014 and even then it was cars with the Subzero package destined for colder climate locations. In 2015 it was officially added to ALL cars that spec'd the Subzero package.

Or driving gloves is what I use, leather so the cold doesn't penetrate the material
