If you're interested in finding a club in the area, there's a NorCal/Reno group here on TMC whose center of mass is roughly in the Sacramento area:

NorCal - Reno Tesla Owners (formerly SacArea) | Tesla Motors Club

They're actually pretty active in terms of organizing group drives, meet-ups, etc.
