Recently got bit with the Tesla bug and patiently awaiting the Model Y release (pre-ordered back in October).

Welcome, Only thing that I can say is that many of us waited over two years for the Model 3, it was worth it.
If you could find a used Leaf in the interim, it may help you get used to the EV lifestyle. And it definitely makes the transition to a Tesla easier.
