I drive a VW golf sportwagen that may be handed down to my son or sold. Vroom gave me a quote for $11k! last week vs $3k from Carvana. 140k mile 2017.
My wife drives a XC90 P8 hybrid nearly 100 miles a day. Not sure she would agree to part with it but I wouldn't mind making a dent in the $500 a month we spend on gas. Like as not we will keep the Volvo.
I have two other EV reservations which maybe ready 2023 at some point but who can say. A Fisker Ocean as well as a F150 Lightning. I love the idea of the car being a backup power source for the house, we have neither generator nor batteries and lose power for a few long days a year. The wife likes the Ocean way more than the MY, fwiw.
