Help! I need advice! A deer jumped into my roadster and knocked off the mirror!

From the pics the CF looks fine, I don't see any stress cracks. As Mark indicated the screws could be bent that hold the mirror on, you'll know once they're taken off.

To take the screws out I can see on the inside of the door that there's two holes where you can access the screws, there's just a tape covering the holes on the inside front door jam area, its the same color as your car.

From the Lotus link it appears the hidden third one is covered just by weatherstripping, and in that case the door panel does not need to be removed and you should be able or your husband to do the repair yourself:
