help needed with the basics

    Hi, I am restoring an old ute and instead of installing a V8, lsd, gearbox etc I would like to know what is required for a tesla motor conversion.

    So far I have seen either p90 or model 3 motors and the idea to mount in a independent rear end and fabricate and weld into the rear end. But beside motor choice and rear end fabrication I need help on where to go...

    I have seen some people retrofit the whole rear subframe of a Model S into a project before. Depending on the dimensions of your ute, this may or may not be an option.
