Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I have a 2013 non tech package model s.

I have seen posts where owners of non tech have bought am HID kit and installed it to upgrade the lights.

My question is, can I as easily use the OEM ballasts and bulbs to upgrade the lights to xenon as I would for a third party light kit example below

9005 Dual Beam Hi/Lo HID Xenon Headlight Conversion Kit

I have included a picture of the OEM ones that I have.

Thanks again!

I've only done the third party kit... so I can't answer for sure. However, the third party kit was 50/50 for me, my installation went great... but when I helped another member on the forum, the bulb cradle didnt seat and lock into the headlamp housing, and we decided to scrap the idea.

Knowing Tesla, there's probably some plug and play you can do... since our older cars (i have a 2013 non tech package) technically had everything included, but was disabled (such as navigation, fog lamps, xenon, etc)
