Hi all

New to the forum. Just bought a Model X 2020.

I thought Bioweapon Defense Mode was standard in the model X. But it looks to be an upgrade.

Is this worth it? My sons have really bad allergies and anything to make it better would be helpful.

I'd be contacting your local service centre, as BWDM has been standard on all S & X's from early-mid 2018.
Yes, BWDM is great, I know someone who bought an S & X, because their child has respiratory problems.

How do you know if you have it? Is there something on the screen that indicates it?

Is Bioweapon Defense Mode standard in the performance or is it now optional for all of them?

It’s standard on all of them now, so if you bought new you should have it.

But if you don’t have it (from an older X), I think it’s just $500 to have the HEPA filter installed and the option enabled on the HVAC controls of the touchscreen.
