I occasionally indulge my love of writing, and have been contributing to a writers' website. This is something I just posted, which Tesla folk might enjoy. Me And The Electrons by sid.schwab on ReadWave For those with nothing better to do, there are several other essays of mine there. This one went kinda viral, with many thousands of reads, one of many on the life of a surgeon: A Surgeons Failure by sid.schwab on ReadWave
You are a very talented writer! I enjoyed both of your selections, but as an NNP I appreciated how you were able to express emotions that we rarely talk about with the surgical selection.
Sid, thanks for the links. Very well written. I am a Tesla owner and work in the OR, so can relate to both essays.
Many thanks for the blogs--especially the personal narrative as a surgeon. I am a doc at a trauma center. Even after 30 years practicing medicine, you never ever get used to death. It is hard to not take it personally as failure. Hindsight is both wonderful and painful (...could I have done something else/better/different). The hard part is 'stepping back into the ring' after a major loss.
