HESITATION!!!

MY 2012 Model S has just started hesitating when pulling out into traffic.

At first just a few milliseconds, but yesterday much longer.

I wil see my service department ASAP, but had anyone had this problem before? I have 61,000 miles.

A few milliseconds is really good sensitivity on your part!

Maybe renew the accelerator pedal (rubber thickness) or new shoes with thicker soles.. you might be losing time with extra distance on pedal pushes.

The Tesla technician studied the record of my car and concluded there was nothing wrong with the car and that I must have been having a foot on the brake at the same time as a foot (or the same one) on the accelerator. It must have been caused by my using my left foot on the brake which I do occasionally. I felt greatly relieved although a bit stupid. I am still amazed that every service center I have used over 61,00o miles must think I am Elon Musk's older brother since they treat me so nicely.
