Let us know how the project turns out, enquiring minds... I'm really happy with the way it turned out for me but there is still plenty of room for improvement. I'm thinking I might install a second antenna by spicing it into the existing line. Does anyone know if this will help? It seems that doubling the size of the antenna would do some good?

I forgot to mention that the cable is 8.5 feet long. The more I spread it out the better the reception seemed to get. I made the biggest loop I could by running the cable around the base of the windshield from left to right then up the right side A post to behind the mirror. I'll try moving the block out from behind the blacked out part of the windshield and see if that makes any difference.
