Might be interesting to know but since Tesla isn't building based on VIN order, but batching to build similarly equipped cars at the same time, it won't really tell us all that much.

The batching happens BEFORE the VIN is assigned. Cars ARE coming off the line in close to VIN order (confirmed by Tesla engineers at the factory). The question is how much time the car needs in post-line fix ups so cars are not ready to deliver in VIN order.

Perhaps the Signature cars were produced differently.

I would love it if those who have received their vehicles could give a quick reply to this thread with their VIN sequence. I'd find that just about the most interesting thing on the forum. A celery pic would be fun, as well!!!

ModelXTracker may be best, but people don't always use it.

Highest production VIN I've seen is Darryl's, which is 251 or something like that and he is set to take delivery any day.

This may help... we're VIN 6xx and haven't entered production yet.

Doesn't seem really relevant when discussing deliveries. Production vin is probably what you are looking for. Delivery is basically luck of the draw of how many issues you have outstanding when the SC gets your car in.

    Low 300s and same.

But as mentioned before, not sure how relevant VIN is. Daryl was 251 and is taking delivery and I have Onyx RIMs so Im probably pushed out and people with VIN higher than me might take delivery first...

It's a good question (and Im excited to know the answer), just not sure it gets us anywhere. =-/

A few weeks ago, someone with a production VIN 3xx posted to the Facebook model X group.

Even though in Model X tracker it shows someone in the 300's receiver their car I see today some in the 400's said they took delivery last week.
