Highest wh/mi?

Ok.. shall we start a challenge of who this winter has the worst efficiency. I managed an impressive 1005 wh/mi in my Model X last week. (not towing) Yes it was very cold in the north east and I was driving in the snow

Did I say the MX is fun in the snow.

WOW!!! I didn't take a picture but I was around high 700s in the past couple of weeks.

Not 1000 but over 71 miles at 909.

Over the past 5 miles, 1000 shouldn't be too hard to beat gunning up any hill. Change that to 30 miles.

I hit 1337 for a 2 mile drive in the deep snow in Erie on Christmas day...

I reach 1448 wh/m for a 4 miles drive during a freezing snow storm in congested traffic (7 hours for doing 4 miles, after driving normally about 100 miles, I was happy to have topped off the battery before leaving ).

But I agree,it's easy to reach 1000 wh/m driving up hill. I reach that quite often in the Alps mountains.

Going real fast on the Autobahn, 1,000 Wh/km is easy. This is independent of outside temp.

Unless the battery/motor gets too hot and you get limited and have to slow down.

Also I have noticed that the numerals on the speedometer are no longer white, but turn orange at 235 km/h if I remember correctly.

Yes that's red at 235 km/h (146 mi/h) but I never reach close to 1000 wh / MILE at that speed, even on autobahn

it turns red!? Why am I just finding this out now! I've brushed 141, but I want to see the speedo go red!

I'm lucky to cross Germany quite often so I can experiment the red speedo but I'would not try anwhere else. (BTW, minivan also can go crazy fast here)

Here is my entry: 2679 Wh/km = 4311 Wh/mile Stuck in trafic at -17C a few meters after leaving (0.7 km in 11 minutes!) Must be a combination of car and battery heating.
