Planning a trip in the next few days to Seaside OR. There are no HP charging points down that way - J1772 at Astoria and Cannon Beach. Of course, CHAdeMO, but they aren't currently any help. From ChadS' Tesla Highway Map, it appeared that a lunch break at the Artic Pub and RV, two miles south of the 107/101 junction, would add a few miles for use in the Seaside area. Yes, could have gone the I5/Rt30 route, but I'd prefer 101.

I emailed the RV Park, and this is the response I received:

No problem Bill. I’ll have open 50A sites for you to charge your car. I have been planning to set up a charging station close to the tavern, but have been too busy. No fee, just pass the word around. I consider it my contribution to a better world. Sites 1, 2, 3, and 11 have 50 Amp outlets.

So, I'm passing the word around. Then, moments later a second message:

Heads up. They don’t open the tavern until noon, so if you arrive earlier, we can visit on my deck.

Can't beat that with a stick!
