I share the bug magnet problem. I clear wrapped the front end and bought a vinyl cleaner at a marine supply store. Used once with a microfiber towel, but seemed to work fine.

I got a ceramic coating for my Y (and S). It really makes a big difference, I was surprised. Apart from making the cars look better, all we do—except if they are truly filthy, like yours—is pressure wash and dry them with microfiber clothes. If they are truly filthy, I use a soap cannon too. I'm done with car washes. Yay!

I did a full car XPEL wrap with ceramic coat. Ceramic coat is a God sent with stuff like this as the bugs and grime just wash right off. Ceramic coat does nothing for scratches and rock chips.

My neighbor takes his Tesla Model X to a local car wash that uses Hand-wash. His paint is spotless. No swirls that are noticeable.
