Forget Tesla, SNL has come up with the ultimate electric car
Hilarious. But there is some truth in it too.
'Elaine' from Seinfeld is an excellent actress and her amazing deadpan expression as she relays a complete nonsense is truly hilarious.
Yes, as for the truth of it, it really shows how Tesla is more a battery company than a car company. You can't just put batteries in a car. You have to put a car around the battery.
Amazing that CEOs of huge car companies comment about the Model 3 launch in a dismissive way as if to say that they too could produce electrical cars in much higher numbers than Tesla if they so wished. They may have bigger and better assembly lines, but they do NOT have a gigafactory and do not have a supercharger network. They think Teslas are just cars with batteries and fail fundamentally to see that an electrical car is not merely different, we must say it is rather diverse. The only thing in common is the shell. Without the Tesla battery tech and means of charging... well then you just get a Merc with AA batteries in it!
This one last week was in the same vein (sarcasm intended). It's sparked a lot of controversy from those that should be supporting it.
