I have a 2018 and purchased parts for rear facing seat installation. The Gen 1 strikers are a little flatter and thus do not quire reach to the latch on the seats. Someone recommended just adding a 0.5 to 1 cm worth of washers to elevate it as a quick and simple fix. Just wanted to see what folks think about that rather than just buying Gen 2 hip strikers.
