Historical Stock Movement

I've previously posted a lot of historical stock dips and climbs for reference and perspective. It can be particularly helpful to see similar periods in the past when it feels like the sky is falling. I thought it would be more helpful to post these in their own thread rather than cluttering the huge main thread with them.

Our current downtrend is pretty similar to several previous downtrends. Here they are using an 8% volatility filter:

Note that the total days is the number of trading days with the corresponding months.

Here's the stock movement since the big climb in November 2018 using an 8% volatility filter:

I plotted all the dips we've had since 2014 using 8% volatility. The top line lists the dips from 9% through 50%. There was only 1 dip of 8.x% so I left it off. The numbers below the line are the actual number of dips falling within that range. Down below shows the % of dips up to various ranges with % of dips over various ranges below that.

Isn't it obvious? You should be adding very heavily to your short position this week.
