Home assessment today - experiences?

I’m located in southwestern Pennsylvania, anyone have any experience with not only the assessment, but if geographically it makes sense. I would like real people to share if they were truly able to rely on solar, and not necessarily what the assessment shows.

Thank you. They are on the way now. I have some pretty intense usage so I'll have to do the math to see. I have half metal/ half shingle roof so I'm not sure if it will even work.

When I did the numbers myself, they were virtually identical to the numbers that Tesla Energy gave me after their site visit.

Keep in mind the assumption is that there is no shade from building and trees. I have neither solar obstruction so my annual actuals were 5-7% higher than the assessment (based on NREL's PVWatts). They assumed shade factor of 95%, and my panels boasted 2% more than competitors. That's where my 7% came from.

As far as I remember, Tesla has a software similar to Project Sunroof. My sales advisor showed me something like that. During assessment, they also measure how much sunlight you will get on specific parts of the roof. I'd ask them for that data.

I have an azimuth of 271 on one side and I believe they said 180 on the other. I’m looking to cover 100% of my daily usage. Our heaviest months are around 2,970 KWh and lighter months around 2000 kWh. Thinking 3 or 4 powerwalls and enough panels to cover that.
