*********First off - am posting this in Off Topic because we've not yet established a good location for the home swap threads, which have been getting more numerous***********

We are looking for a concurrent OR non-concurrent home swap with a Tesla owner from Europe, Australia/NZ, Brasil/Argentina, or ____?_____.

Timing: More or less year-round if Arizona; May - September if Alaska*.

Tesla: We have a 2013 Model S P85. Early adopter, so our vehicle is pre-autonomous anything. It is, however, in Tesla's most beautiful color ever: the very rare dark green. And has the even rarer Alaska license plate!

Arizona House: 6+ acres (3 ha.) fully fenced and extremely private; the only house on a private road off a private road off a private road. Vast orchard, extensive vegetable garden, koi pond & waterfall. Located in one of Arizona's most charming, quaint, cowboy-authentic towns: Wickenburg, which is between Phoenix and Las Vegas (about 60 miles NW of Phoenix). In the midst of Superchargers, with one right downtown. Wickenburg is a terrific site from which to base a trip through the southwest US - whether north to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Mesa Verde and the other glorious National Parks of Utah, Colorado, Nevada and northern Arizona; south to Saguaro, Kartchner Caverns, west to southern California (and north....).

MOST LIKELY, we would make available the main house's annex which, in SW US fashion, is called a casita. This is a spacious 1-bedroom unit with its full bath and kitchenette. Our mother-in-law (OK: the mother of one of us....) caretakes the main house itself during the summer season when we're working in Alaska. She is a terrific asset for any home-swapper: helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, having lived there for going on five decades. She also would be there were we to do a winter swap, at which time she also would be taking care of her cats and our dogs....so to put her AND those animals in the casita would be....a non-starter.

Now, if you prefer the Alaska option, it would entail the following: first, there would be no Tesla. We no longer - not for the foreseeable future - are keeping the Model S here. The logistics of driving it around our unfathomably long-distance roads will not make sense until Tesla gets around to emplacing charging stations here (another topic). Rather, you would be our gratis guests at our lodge, about which you will have to learn in other ways so that I do not fall afoul of this forum's rules regarding commercial activities. This would be, as I wrote above, during the May through September months.
