Hi to all,
I was able to connect my garage door to homelink with no issues whatsoever but i am not having any luck connecting it with the gate to enter my community. I have tried several times by following the very simple connection instructions it provides for you but no success. Does anyone have this same issue? Has anyone had success in connecting community gates with Homelink?

Try holding the gate remote button depressed for 5s, I seemed to have better luck with that approach when programming from the garage opener remote.
