Homelink in condo complex garage

I'm wondering how to properly program my homelink for my condo complex. When I arrive home I can get it to auto open. But I park about 40 feet into the underground garage, which means the location it needs to trigger when I exit is different than where I enter. What's the best solution?

What counts is where the garage door is. That location does not migrate no matter how far your car will travel further 40 feet underground.

Are you saying that there 2 garage doors: one entrance and one exit and they are in different locations, 40 feet apart?

No, there's one gate. When I enter from the street, it opens. When I back out of my spot and approach the gate, it does not open unless I back up about 15 feet. That's the issue.
