Mine was not detected by my 2022 MYLR. Actually not even the first time I plugged in, like some people mentioned. I reset the UI and remembered that may actually screw things up because it's supposed to be active until the first time you restart (or something). Anyway, no luck for me to have an active homelink as soon as I installed.

I was a little peeved that Homelink was not included with the car. I ordered it from Tesla's website and it shipped fairly quick. When it arrived, the box had warning stickers/labels on it that said if I opened the box, Tesla would refuse to install it. I thought it was a bit ridiculous, but I scheduled the install anyways through the app. Tesla sent a tech to my house and installed/configured it for free.

That's so frustrating!
