Its frustrating the app reverts to the last selection in the car. I have a gate and garage door programmed. Also, the Homelink icon is always available in the Tesla mobile app under the Controls section.
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

Not that issue, but i did have to do the programming about 3 times each for them to actually work on the screen.Anybody run into issues with setup? I’m trying to set mine up but it doesn’t move past the getting ready to program screen. Any help would be appreciated. I called Tesla and Homelink. So far, nothing.
Or just install homebridge on a docker container on your synology NAS if you have one.The myQ is great. Use a raspberry pi with homebridge to control it.
You would think, because it adds the homelink icon to the screen and in the app.Doesn't a Tesla technician need to code for getting past that step? I remember my TT telling me a lot of people try to do it themselves and he laughs...
I just did this and it’s freaking great! I also have it set up to open the garage door automatically when I pull up.Or just install homebridge on a docker container on your synology NAS if you have one.
You can program three devices… Automatic Garage Opener - HomeLinkCan the home link be set up to multiple gate/door. For example I have a community gate and my garage door that I want to set up. Don't want to purchase if it can not do both.
Auto open is great since it'll open both the community gate and garage once you come within a programmed distance. However, it does open the community gate on the way out too. Haven't figured out a way to prevent that other than manually skipping it on the screen. Can the home link be set up to multiple gate/door. In the spirit of safety and neighborlyness probably best to leave the community gate to manual operation. The button will appear on screen easily enough when you’re within range and then you don’t have to remember to manually skip it on the way out.Auto open is great since it'll open both the community gate and garage once you come within a programmed distance. I believe its the last one you activated on your screen. Otherwise, wish the app could select one or the other. How does the app know which garage door to activate? I have 2 and I don’t see any way to select a particular door.
