High long hood is uncharacteristic of an EV. Looks like they are just reusing a gas body.

This looks like a partnership with Ford. Ford mach-e is a reuse of Ford escape body. Honda is re-using the Mach-e.

At the rate Honda is going with hybrids, PHEVs and other electric technology, I doubt this car will see the light of day before 8 years is up. From what I understand the Clarity sales range has been greatly reduced to the "expensive gas" states.

1) already mentioned: 2 doors CUV??
2) design: looks like drag coefficient will be higher than Model Y (but I don't think any CUV has drag coefficient as low as Model Y): so range will be lower per kwh

Yes, the production EV from this concept is for China only. Maybe Europe. The US will get two Honda EVs co developed with GM om two years.
