Finally.

Now that Honda's EV-bashing Mr. Fukui is gone, maybe the company will finally abandon its FCX fantasy.

Considering that Honda has tried the hardest in the alternatives fuels arena (first to bring hybrids to the U.S. market, the biggest promoter of natural gas, and foolishly proactive on fuel cells), but has largely failed to carve out the AFV market, Honda is gonna have to really pull it off with this EV.

Just to point out that the photo here, and on Autobloggreen, is of Honda's 1980's-era EV Plus - apparently Honda hasn't yet released any images of their prototype.

The big car makers didn't have"production" EVs in the 80's. 1996 is when it all started, and that's a picture of the Honda EV+ from around that time. Yes, I find it comical as well that they show a picture of an EV that they put on the road 13 years ago... all while promising a new one six years into the future. :sigh:
