Just saw how some providers try and help TSLA owners charge between super chargers . Good thing the CCS adapter just came out bc I can’t image that MacGyver job would do well over time .

For those not familiar with the equipment in the left photo, The blue part is a CHAdeMO handle. It is plugged into a CHAdeMO-to-Tesla adapter. The black bands surrounding both pieces is a means to prevent (?) the CHAdeMO adapter from walking away, since they used to retail for around $500 each. The end of the CHAdeMO adapter is a standard Tesla Proprietary Connector which plugs into our Teslas.

I'm not sure how that contraption can be used by a CHAdeMO vehicle like a Nissan LEAF.

Much of the rest of the Tesla world says ok.

CCS2 plug as used in UK/Europe/Asia (ex China and Japan), Australia/NZ.

Note CCS2 is different to CCS1 that's used in the US, as the top AC plug (Type 2 or Mennekes) can handle 3-phase power - there are three Line pins, Ground, Neutral and the two pilot pins.

China GB/T is different again with a reversed Type2 and a separate DC plug.
