Ordered the paint protection film from the Tesla store. It came in a large round paper tube. Look at the amount of dust and the corners were lifted. It is completely useless. I tried to clean it with the soap water and hope it would stick. Of course, the corners won't stick. Is this how it's always packaged from the store?

Rinse it off gently under the faucet and see how much has lifted. If it’s just the small
corner portion, it would make more sense to reduce product waste by trimming it with sharp scissors and while doing so, round it off and you’ll forget there was ever an issue. The small corner area should not diminish protection.

Trimming off the lifted piece works as others have pointed out. If you didn't want to do that, you can try warming the edge up with a heat gun or hair dryer too.

I had the same damage and asked for a refund that was approved. Would contact them at [email protected]. Include your order number and a photo of the damage. They will send you a return lable.
I found other threads with similar packaging issues. I’m going to send it back. I don’t want a replacement if it comes packaged like this. Honestly, this is the sort of packaging crap job you only see from AliExpress orders.

Mine also came with one of the corners slightly lifted up, but also to a lesser degree. And it doesn't have all of that fine dust surrounding it, so I am still hopeful it will stick. I haven't received my car yet, so it's just waiting to be installed. If needed, I'll trim the corner(s) off as others have mentioned. Still disappointing though.
That is interesting with all the dust. Maybe yours was an earlier return? I plan to order the Tesla PPF and will watch out for this.
The good news is, after sending them pictures they are giving a full refund and they don't even want it back.
I'm going to explore the local shops. The Tesla store is just not worth the wait and really dumb packaging. It's the perfect way of ruining customer confidence, and waste products.
