Yeah. That's a subtle error. Our planet orbits the Sun. It's the only car to orbit the Sun in a different orbit than Earth.

Saw the story carried on AppleNews/Insideevs tonight.

I found a seller on ebay that was very reasonable. $7 plus $4+ for shipping. "Buy Now" too, so quick sale and no auction bidding. Seller had a number for sale. Should make a nice stocking stuffer at xmas time for the SpaceX/Roadster family member or friend...and one for yourself too maybe? Too bad it doesn't come with Starman seated inside but guess it was meant more to represent the car on the dashboard. Either way fun item.

Technically the other cars are just going along for the ride on our orbiting planet not physically orbiting the sun on their own. I'm OK with the wording .

Who can spot the blooper on the blister packaging?

Packaging says 2008 Roadster, but the actual Roadster on the Falcon Heavy was a 2010 model, VIN #686.

Yesterday Mattel released yet another Hot Wheels SpaceX edition of a Tesla Roadster. Maybe this is what some folks were waiting for. Not just a blister card picture, this version features a Starman driver in the seat. Today it shows unavailable on Mattel's website. An ebay auction started yesterday is now at $36. Might check local stores or wait. The edition from last October started high, but on ebay NIB now list for around $10.
