Hotel Denies 110v charging access

These are all good stories and examples of why some people want to charge at 110 particularly when they have little choice. And good reasons why a hotel may not want someone to charge. At least everyone was asking before plugging in. Very good idea. There was more to that story than initially reported, and it was discussed on TMC extensively so you can search if you're interested. He had previously been told he may not plug in there. It's not a story of plugging in without asking first, it's really a story of plugging in after asking first and being denied, then plugging in anyway. That's not the situation we're discussing in this thread.

Yes Tex, you are correct. That's not what the discussion was for this thread. I hope you can excuse me for not seeing the memo that made you the thread police :)
 
Just did the 120 Volt Shuffle again at the beach condo we were at. Arrived with ~70 miles, plugged in each nigh... drove probably 120 miles over the course of the week, and left this morning with a 100% charge. With the 2 nearest super chargers 120-140 miles away, it worked out great...
