Houston Coffee and Cars

Jan 8 Event

For this event I showed up a little earlier. No Lotuses were there yet (although 4 or 5 eventually showed up). It wasn't until after I parked that I realized that I was in the "hybrid" section. I was next to the Honda Insight Club!

Luckily, on my other side was a Jaguar roadster and the Ferrari club.

This time around, my badging was fixed. No more T=SLA!

Unfortunately... still had the foggy headlight!

dsm363 was going to attend from San Antonio... but getting up at 2am was too much for him. The next event is Feb 5, 8am-10am. I think he'll leave the night before and get a room. (Sorry, I don't have a guest room) But the offer to charge up at my place still stands. :wink:

I also had a new camera I was playing with. Here are some of the pictures I took. There were over 500 cars there, I imagine.

I look forward to attending one of these times. I'll try to find a weekend where I can leave Friday afternoon. This will give me an hour or two to charge at the Columbus RV park to make sure I can make it to Houston.

I think I posted this before but I'm pretty sure the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston is working on installing a NEMA 14-50 plug and maybe a J1772 charger for guests at some point too.
