How accurate is the my.teslamotors.com Estimated Delivery date?

My 85 kWh (non-D) Model S with order accepted 21/12/2014 is now marked on my.teslamotors.com as "Production Complete" and "Your Model S is in transit from the factory."

The "Estimated Delivery" is marked on the website as "Late March" with the standard proviso: "This time frame is only an estimate and is subject to change based on current production schedules and option availability. Please expect that this timing will shift to provide the most accurate estimate possible. Your delivery appointment will be confirmed by your Delivery Experience Specialist once your vehicle is fully assembled and en route to the nearest Tesla location for final inspection and preparation."

How accurate have those in Australia found the Estimated Delivery in the past? I expect there's some luck and transit time depends on how close the elapsed time is between the Production Complete and the next available slot on a car carrier ship from the US to Australia. I expect there's not a huge frequency of ships, but others might know.

It must be terribly exciting and painful to have your car on a boat...

mine is still in the production queue and although a much greater wait, is still under the care and protection of the guys that make the thing from scratch...

but having tracked it now to the tumultuous seas with such anticipation.... Every now and then getting that sinking feeling... And at the mercy of the weather, the docks, customs, truck drivers, .... Soon to be at the mercy of the bank manager, the wife....

just don't lose your license guys or the extra wait while the car stares at you from the garage will kill ya!

Well, after a few weeks of showing "Late March" it now says "Late April". The website may have said "in transit" but maybe it is still not on a ship. Mind you, I received my wall connector this week.

It turns out my vehicle was not on a ship. The ship spent a couple of weeks sitting off the coast of Long Beach but is now on its way to Sydney (via Auckland and Melbourne). The ship is the CAP CAPRICORN. For others with vehicles on this boat, see: http://www.vesselfinder.com/?imo=9649835

Due date according to the Maersk site is:
Sydney
Sydney Terminal P&O Ports21 Mar 2015, 06:30
According to the ANL site it is:

My delivery date estimate was always late September.
The deposit was paid April 9th 2015.
So far that is looking pretty accurate, I expect to pick up my car in a week or so (it was in Sydney two days ago).
So far the wait has been 5 calendar months and 9 days (163 days).
