@theslimshadyist I just wanted to let you know after my consent they changed my VIN to 2017 vin.

I'm going to try to do the same. Thanks for keeping us all informed.

@Hrhkee Well I am sorry that it did not work for you what worked for me but when I received a call from an inside sales advisor from Tesla head quarters in Fremont CA on Friday about this promo, I did not believe it so I called my delivery specialist and he did not know what I was talking about and he said he will get back after checking at the head quarters . After my consent to pay this year and get the delivery in early January they immediately changed my VIN to 2017 which is 5YJXCAE24HF029xxx.

I though I found a cure. I cancelled my order and bought one that was available next door. Now I have a delivery date. I slept like a baby last night. Tonight I'm back to my old vampiric-ways. Trolling for Tesla content.

Today I got an email stating delivery next week. My heart raced breathing got erratic. Felt strange. I then realize they really messing with me.

I have (and had) a late February delivery (EU market) and I just noticed my VIN was changed to 2017 (no notifications of any kind). Now: 5YJSA7E29HF1xxxxx. Checked here VIN Decoder | TeslaTap and G was for 2016. Now I have H.

The IRS is going to be busy in a few months with all of these new customers who are apparently getting their unusual tax advice from their Tesla DS's.
