How do I add a second phone key?

I was able to set up my phone as a key. However, I can’t seem to set up my wife’s phone in the same way.

At what point did it fail? Maybe your wife's phone BT is not on? I have both mine and my wife's phone added at key without problem.

You haven't provided my to go on, but you will need to download the Tesla app on your wife's phone. She would need to log on using your credentials (or you could request Tesla match her credentials to your VIN). You will also need your key card to pair your wife's phone.

i have managed it. For some reason I couldn’t get past the set phone as key on the second phone. Tried it again 5 minutes ago and it’s working now

Remember to add it from the app, not the car, but you will have a key in the card to authenticate.

The problem was that when I pressed the correct button in the app that should have taken me to the setup screen, nothing happened even after switching of my phone and resetting my wife’s. I had some other stuff to do and it worked after trying again 2 hours later

Don’t forget to assign a drivers profile to her phone too

I’m in love! Tesla Decatur was awesome and let me pick up early as my wife was sick and we had a 5 hour drive home.
